In early Setember of 2007, we departed for an Italian adventure across the Cinque Terre, or five villages. We flew into Nice and drove the 3 hour trek to Monterosso through Genova, Italy. In Monterosso, the first of the five villages, we found a quaint, (and upscale for the region), resort called the Hotel Margherita, where we spent four nights. Over the interval, we traveled to Vernazza, Corniglia, and Riomaggiore, all part of the Cinque Terre.
